WHO WE ARE
TYC Arts and Education CIC is a youth-led arts and wellbeing organisation, founded in Portsmouth in 2013 and now proudly supporting children and young people across the Solent region.

We empower young creatives of all kinds - performers, filmmakers, writers, designers, technicians and emerging leaders, through inclusive, youth-led experiences that build confidence, wellbeing and a powerful sense of belonging, helping every young person grow into their future pathways.

At our core, we believe creativity lives in everyone, and no matter your background, you deserve the chance to explore, express, and shine in a space that champions your ideas.
TYC is that space.

Our flagship programme offers three separate weekly creative sessions across Portsmouth North, Portsmouth South and Havant:
Drama, Vocal Group and Next Gen Filmmakers. Young people can choose the pathway that suits them, or take part in more than one.
​
Each session builds confidence, skills and a sense of belonging while giving young people the chance to explore their creativity in a way that feels right for them.
​
These pathways lead into youth-led productions, films and public events created in genuine partnership with young people.
